Everything you want to know about Aquamarine
Aquamarine is one of our favourite gemstones. This beauty pops up in our jewellery collection a lot, alongside Diamond, Labradorite and Tourmaline. We especially love it with necklaces, rings and earrings.
Since ancient times gemstones have been associated with bringing joy and good fortune to their wearer. The gemstone is not just beautiful, but also believed to bring improvements or protection. Aquamarine is said to make you relaxed, upbeat and sincere.
Mesmerizing Aquamarine is found in colours varying from bright blue to faded blue and greenish blue. It is named after the appealing blue of sea water (‘aqua’ and ‘mare’).
All the colour nuances in this gemstone are lovely to combine with silver and gold. Aquamarine is one of the gems in the Beryl group, as is emerald, and is found in Brazil, Pakistan, Madagaskar and Zimbabwe. It’s hardness is suitable to all sorts of jewels. We would love to help you find the perfect combination for your Oogst Original.
