As fans of the work of Charles & Margaret Mackintosh we visited some of their iconic building around Glasgow. This ‘Arts & Crafts’ couple designed not just the buildings, but the distinctive furniture, stained glass lighting, and all the decorations. So many loving details pop up, from heart shapes, squares, leaves to drop shapes and roses. This Scottish inspiration trip gave us so many new ideas, our ‘a wee bit of Scotland’ jewellery collection followed soon after.
