Last Friday you could spot us on national television in an episode of BinnensteBuiten with an item on Craftsmanship. How wonderful to tell you more about our lovely craft and show you details and techniques! In this video (11 minutes) you can have an exclusive look around the studio, they’ll zoom in on our working hands, and on the Oogst jewellery.
Did you know they filmed for an entire day to create this 11 minute item?
Behind the scenes we were nervous, because remembering our lines was far more difficult than we thought. Shaky hands syndrome kicked in, when the macro lense arrived, and ofcourse a little hickup happened along the way as well. We were happy they didn’t send us the bloopers ;-).
Spotlight on the details
Did you see Lotte work on this necklace? It isn’t a 100% done, still a few details to finish like the clasp. This standout piece is designed for our ‘a wee bit of Scotland’ series, inspired by the wonderful work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Did you see Ellen tell you more about the flower rings? A favourite to design & create! This sturdy yellow gold ring with exuberant blossoms and playful leaves is from our ‘Japonais’ series. Here you can read all about it.
