As fans of the work of Charles & Margaret Mackintosh we visited some of their iconic building around Glasgow. This ‘Arts & Crafts’ couple designed not just the buildings, but the stand out furniture, wonderful stained glass lighting, and all the standout decorations. So many loving details! From heart shapes, leaves, squares, to drop shapes and roses. This inspiration trip gave us so many new ideas, the ‘a wee bit of Scotland’ collection resulting from this can now be discovered.
